Pip & the farm

The rabbit who started a palace.

It began with one boy, one rabbit, and the idea that everyone should get to spend a slow hour with something soft.

The king

Meet Pip.

Pip belongs to Elliot, and Pip belongs to nobody; that is rather the point of a cat, and it turns out, of a very confident rabbit too.

He is soft grey with clear blue eyes, and one eye always sits a little low. He was born that way. Far from a flaw, it gives him a knowing, slightly regal tilt; the sort of look that makes you sit up and behave. We put a crown on him and the name stuck.

Pip is the father of the kits growing up in the Palace Court, so a little of him hops through every room here.

How it started

Elliot's idea.

Elliot noticed how quickly a hard day softened whenever Pip was on his lap. So he had a thought: a proper cafe where anyone could book an hour, have a good coffee and a slice of cake, and share the floor with a room full of rabbits.

Pip's Palace is that idea, built for real; part cafe, part small farm, and entirely about slowing down for a while.

The rooms

The rooms & their rabbits.

Four spaces, each with its own pace and its own breeds. Wander between them; there is no rush.

The Lop Lounge

Holland & French Lops

Big floppy ears and even bigger patience. A low, cushioned, unhurried room where the rabbits are happy to be admired at close range. Our calmest space and the easiest first meeting for small children.

The Meadow

Netherland Dwarf & Mini Rex

The bright room. Little rabbits with lots of opinions, dashing about the run and pulling off the odd mid-air binky. Come here for energy and giggles.

Lionheads & Rex

Manes, velvet coats and characterful faces. A cosy, den-like room for slower introductions and a proper nose-to-nose hello.

Pip & his kits

The king's own room, and the nursery for his young family. Our quietest, watch-and-wonder space; visitor numbers are kept low so the little ones stay settled.

Their home first

Rabbits first, always.

Quiet by design

Booking caps each room, so it never gets loud or crowded. Rabbits set the pace; we simply keep it gentle.

Rest away from guests

Every rabbit has an off-limits burrow to retreat to whenever it likes. No handling is ever forced.

Vet-led care

Regular health checks, a species-right diet, and plenty of space to dig, hop and simply be rabbits.
